Before committing to expensive, long lead time tooling for a cast the aluminium casing, we were able to quickly 3D print the casing model. This gave a physical model to review the build and internal has been used in marketing displays, and as a “mock-up” part that can be loaned to customers to check integration on their own vehicle before production delivery.
