3D printing

3D printing can quickly turn designs into reality and has a wide range of applications

  • Prototype parts to check aesthetics or function before design freeze and manufacture.
  • End use parts. 3D printing can produce functional and structural end use parts. Complex shapes can be produced, removing the need for tooling or mould costs associated with other methods.
  • Tooling Manufacture. 3D printing can be a great way to produce tooling or moulds for complex shapes. For example, printing a mould, into which resins can be poured to produce tooling.

Our FDM machine has a build volume of 305 x 305 x 600mm, and for smaller more detailed aesthetic parts we have a resin-based printer. We can print parts to your design, or work with you to design your parts for print.

Parts can be produced in a range of materials including PLA, PETG, polycarbonate, nylon, glass filled nylon, and carbon filled nylon.
